Once described as "...the bastard child of Joy Division and the Divinyls..."; Valanti will release an absolutely ball tearing version of the latter band's classic "...Boys in Town..." in May of their new EP BLOW, and are set to further their mark on the current scene in Australia and Overseas. Chrissa Valanti, quoted as Australia's "sexiest new pop siren" by music writer Paul Stewart from the Sunday Herald Sun, captivates her audience with goddess school-girl looks, moves and enchanting melodic vocals.

From the Inner North of Melbourne, four-piece Valanti have taken their incredibly tough and sexy signature blend of stadium new wave rock from Sydney's seedy pubs to the stage of Slash's Snitch Night club in New York City; from the smoky clubs of Adelaide to Midem in Cannes, France. Valanti's music is available in 73 countries and they are preparing to tour Spain, France and the UK in June 2007. The last 12 months have seen the band release an E.P. and the full-length L.P. Uncovered which spawned two singles, all to high critical acclaim.

Gibson Guitars have also jumped on the hype endorsing the band recently with Chrissa Valanti representing the Gibson Goddess Guitar in Australia. The word is that Valanti will be Australia's next BIG THING with record companies abroad keeping a very close watch! They will support the Vince Neil (Motley Crue) tour in Australia later this year.
